Now hiring: we are hiring a roofer in Clarendon County, South Carolina. You will work on commercial flat-roof projects. The role involves strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • A good head for heights and steady balance $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
