Urgent requirement: flatlock machine operator (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Howard County, Iowa. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
