Rebar fixer • Livingston County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Livingston County, New York. You will work on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Six days a week, one day off.
