Immediate opening: safety inspector (Zamfara State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety inspector in Bakura, Zamfara State. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Your main tasks: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry ₦8,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
