Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Lewis County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Lewis County, New York. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. On the job you will handle: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Full-time, day shift.
