Gas pipeline fitter — Marlboro County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Marlboro County, South Carolina. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day to day you will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
