Immediate opening: lift technician (Nebraska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Boone County, Nebraska. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day to day you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
