Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Harnett County, North Carolina. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Full-time, day shift.
