Lift maintenance fitter — Cheboygan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Cheboygan County, Michigan. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway.
