Safety inspector — Orange County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety inspector in Orange County, New York. The job is at a manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On a typical shift you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
