Concrete finisher • Renfrewshire, Scotland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Six days a week, one day off.
