Immediate opening: brickwork mason (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Clark County, Kansas. You will be based at a residential building site. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
