Plant operator — City of Charlottesville

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will work in a packaging factory. On the job you will handle: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers Requirements: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings Overtime paid at a premium rate.
