Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Swisher County, Texas. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 1+ years on the tools preferred.
