Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Madison County, Nebraska. The job is on residential new-build sites. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel On a typical shift you will bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; insulate and ventilate the roof void; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
