Vacancy available: gas metal arc welder (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Lamar County, Georgia. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
