On a typical shift you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
