Crane rigger • Clatsop County, Oregon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Clatsop County, Oregon. You will work at a power plant. Day to day you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
