Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Sedgwick County, Kansas. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed.
