Vacancy available: we are hiring a container truck driver in Chemung County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules 2+ years on the tools preferred.
