Immediate opening: incoming goods inspector (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Putnam County, New York. Your main tasks: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
