Urgent requirement: earthmoving plant operator (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Cooke County, Texas. The job is in an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
