Steel fixer — Orelope

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Orelope, Oyo State. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
