Occupational health and safety officer — Phillips County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Phillips County, Kansas. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
