Bodyshop painter wanted in Amherst County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Amherst County, Virginia. The job is at an accident repair centre. You should have: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns The role involves: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
