Vacancy available: bench joiner (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
