Plant operator (dozer) • Hubbard County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Hubbard County, Minnesota. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Your main tasks: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
