Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Kingsbury County, South Dakota. The job is at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
