Health and safety supervisor wanted in Cole County

Now hiring: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Cole County, Missouri. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
