Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring.
