Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Garfield County, Nebraska. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Rotating shifts.
