Elevator service technician — Roberts County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Roberts County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Full-time, day shift.
