Vacancy available: uPVC window fabricator (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Taylor County, Iowa. You will work on a window-and-door production line. Day-to-day duties: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents Ideal candidate: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
