We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Powhatan County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
