Steel fixer — Mariposa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Mariposa County, California. On the job you will handle: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Full-time, day shift.
