Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in City of Petersburg, Virginia. You should have: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) On a typical shift you will operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily.
