Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Seminole County, Georgia. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Full-time, day shift.
