Pipe TIG welder • Rogers County, Oklahoma

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Rogers County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work You will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
