Great opportunity: we are hiring a beldar in Madison County, Iowa. You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations Full-time with occasional weekends.
