Health and safety supervisor • Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Full-time with occasional weekends.
