Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Wake County, North Carolina. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
