Great opportunity: refrigeration service engineer (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Clay County, North Carolina. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Performance bonus on top of base pay.
