Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Alamosa County, Colorado. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations The role involves: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Rotating shifts.
