Great opportunity: we are hiring a pot washer in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will work at a banquet hall. On a typical shift you will top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils. Ideal candidate: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
