Estate gardener • Rabun County, Georgia

Join our team: we are hiring an estate gardener in Rabun County, Georgia. You will work at a plant nursery. The role involves: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
