Steel fixer — Ihitte/Uboma

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Ihitte/Uboma, Imo State. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
