Skimming plasterer • Pettis County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Pettis County, Missouri. The job is at a new-build housing development. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic On the job you will handle: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Part-time with flexible hours.
