Now hiring: reinforcement fitter (Minnesota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
