Reinforcement steel fixer — Hinsdale County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Hinsdale County, Colorado. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
