What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
